Too big too quick

My brother went to a restaurant today. It was their last day. They're closing down.

When they first opened, they had customers out the door. And it stayed like that for a few months.

So they decided to expand. And the owners set up a few more restaurants with the momentum of the first.

But after a couple of months, the growth wasn't sustainable. Their cash flow didn't keep up with their expansions.

It's luring to want to go as big as possible as soon as possible. But what for? To keep doing more of what you're doing?

If you're already doing the work you're enjoying and others are enjoying it too, keep doing it. Serve the people queuing outside the door before deciding to serve the people in the next city.
