Early-adopters are well-known. They’re the ones who want to use the new thing before it comes out.
They’re the ones lining up on launch day.
You want to pay attention to your early adopters because they start the traction early.
But after the early adopters slow, you want to find the big fishes. Your most loyal fans, the ones who spend the most time using your product or service.
They behave differently to the other users. They’re the ones which tell others about your work. They’re the ones always there supporting what you do and telling you where you can be better.
They’re the regulars. The ones you know by name. The ones who know you by name. Hold onto them. Treat them well.
You wouldn’t be here without them.
